Genevieve Jobes is visual artist working between the Pacific Coast cities of Sydney and Seattle. She explores reflective qualities of water, researching the overlaps in navigation, material memory and the tactile experience of landscape. Her painted surfaces evoke spaces at the edge of water, using fluid brushwork on fabrics gathered during daily walks to tide lines.
